If you have 10+ years of experience designing, installing, and maintaining low-voltage cable infrastructure systems, we want to hear from you.Position Details** NorCal KP Region (Sacramento & Bay Area) 50-80% within NCAL KP Region Partially remote (local candidates only) High School diploma requiredRequired **10+ years in structured cabling (Cat 5, Cat 6a, Fiber Optic)Manufacturer-specific experience and/or certifications preferred (Commscope, BICSI, Panduit, Hubbell, Corning, Leviton, AV, etc.)Strong understanding of cabling and fiber standardsExperience with telecom, data, security, and wireless systems infrastructureProficiency with design software (Bluebeam, AutoCAD, SolidWorks)Expected * Flexible, day shift, depends on siteDress * Business casual (PPE required for construction sites)* Always availableKey Responsibilities and Activities Design of TR spaces based on building size and IT requirements HVAC sizing based on IT equipment specifications UPS sizing and pathway design based on IT requirementsCabling ** Backbone and horizontal cabling (fiber, copper, specialty)Site * Conduct schematic design and estimationIT * Development of construction documents for follow-on engineeringCabling * Create CD/Add Move Change documentation for IT and regulatory device connectivityEngineering ** Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and SolidWorksDay-to-Day ActivitiesCollaborate with multiple teams, including NFS, CPFC, CDTS, ITC, Security, and Local FacilitiesConduct on-site quality inspectionsCreate ICE documents for current and upcoming projectsAssess and recommend updates to outdated or over-capacity spaces to meet current KP standardsDM me for more details or to apply today.#Hiring #InfrastructureCableEngineer #Telecom #Networking #Cabling #FiberOptics #Engineering #JobOpportunity
