ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIREDWe are seeking a qualified candidate for a Cyber Engineering technical role in support of the Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and testing patches to address vulnerabilities in software, hardware, and firmware. This role will focus on vulnerability management, including the analysis and remediation of Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVMs), Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs), Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), vendor patches, and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) configurations.Required Skills - Proficient in configuring and patching Windows systems using Group Policy Objects (GPO).- Hands-on experience in scripting, installing, and testing GPOs on Windows hosts within Active Directory domains.- Practical knowledge of writing and deploying GPOs with Advanced Group Policy Management (AGPM).- Strong understanding of GPOs for effective access control management, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and enhancing overall network security.- Expertise in troubleshooting Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software applications and conducting data analytics on system vulnerabilities and mission impacts for risk mitigation.Job Duties - Installing and configuring Linux systems, from the operating system to the application level.- Documenting and verifying all installation and configuration processes within the lab environments.- Developing test plans and procedures for software integration and unit testing.- Collaborating with software developers and vendors to diagnose and identify root causes of issues encountered during system integration.- Submitting problem reports for errors identified in accordance with Agile processes and coordinating daily integration activities across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs).Job Requirements - Advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent qualifications.- Demonstrated ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts effectively within the field.- Skilled in providing innovative and comprehensive solutions to a wide range of complex problems.- Capable of working under general direction, with results assessed upon completion for effectiveness in achieving objectives.- Understands that failure to meet results can lead to significant program delays and substantial resource expenditure.- Strong communication skills for frequent interactions with both internal and external customers.- Represents the organization effectively by providing solutions to challenging technical issues related to specific projects.Desired Skills & Experience - Experience executing Agile tasks throughout a System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).- Familiarity with industry-standard cybersecurity tools such as Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), NESSUS, and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).- Demonstrated experience in analyzing and implementing NIST SP 800-53 Security Controls as part of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) implementation across various phases of mission systems.We can also hire for the Huntsville, Alabama location
