This is a client-facing role where you will be responsible for both technical project execution and business development, helping to expand our geotechnical services across key markets.With a strong portfolio of client relationships and a growing demand for our expertise, this position offers an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial-minded professional to lead projects, engage with clients, and drive business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, proactively identify new opportunities, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.Project Leadership: Oversee geotechnical investigations, geohazard assessments, engineering design, and construction support for infrastructure, energy, and mining projects.Technical Excellence: Ensure high-quality geotechnical analyses, including soil and rock classification, slope stability, earth retention systems, deep/shallow foundation design, and soil improvement techniques.Team Mentorship & Management: Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional growth.Proposal & Report Oversight: Provide quality control for technical reports and proposals to ensure accuracy, clarity, and value to clients.Industry Engagement: Represent the company at professional and technical organizations, strengthening our presence in the market.What You Bring to the RoleEducation: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geological, or Mining Engineering (Master's in Geotechnical Engineering preferred).Experience: 8+ years in geotechnical engineering, with a track record of business development and client relationship management.Sector Expertise: Experience in energy, mining, and/or heavy commercial projects is highly desirable.Licensing: Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida.Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
