H&H Team Lead

My client are seeking a Senior Drainage & H&H Engineer/Team Lead to join a dynamic and growth-focused team. This role offers the opportunity to lead innovative stormwater and flood control projects while mentoring and developing a team of engineers and technicians. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with a passion for problem-solving, client engagement, and project management.Key **Assist in procuring new projects with innovative and creative solutions.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project teams.Establish clear communication protocols and ensure project expectations align with scope, schedule, and deliverables.Manage feasibility studies, drainage impact analysis, conveyance analysis, and flood control projects.Utilize advanced modeling tools such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM, XP & PC SWMM, KYPIPE, and ArcGIS.Oversee 1D, 2D, and coupled 1D-2D modeling for project development.Mentor and manage graduate engineers, professional engineers, and sub-consultants.Navigate the full project lifecycle, from concept to completion, while ensuring compliance with local drainage criteria and regulatory requirements.Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Texas.Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Drainage and H&H Engineering.Strong project management skills with familiarity in design software.Ability to lead and inspire a team, ensuring project success and client satisfaction.Valid drivers license required.What They ***A culture focused on professional growth, collaboration, and innovation.Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.Work-life balance with opportunities for leadership development.This is a great opportunity for a motivated engineer looking to elevate their career in drainage and hydrology.
