This position reports directly to our Director of Product Compliance and will play an integral role in our Quality and Compliance team.This role is to assist the quality team in setting and tracking objectives, goals, and KPIs. This person will also inspect and test samples as per the request of different stakeholders within Loloi, to ensure they meet the quality requirements as per AQL levels, product specifications, and customer expectations. Your goal will be to continuously improve the quality for our rug and textile products by working with performance results and to assure supplier quality compliance.This role is based onsite 5 days a week (M-F) at our Dallas, TX headquarters. If you have experience working with complex data utilizing spreadsheets, business intelligence, or other quantitative problem-solving tools, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesInvestigate Quality Issues Work with different stakeholders to investigate potential quality issues in the supply chain.Review queries from different stakeholders within Loloi.Collect evidence and gather information about the query.Thoroughly investigate the queries by digging deeper into various parts of the supply chain.Report back the scale of the issue with relevant data.Quarantine the product/issue to stop from spreading further.Take action involving stakeholders to properly solve the quality issue using root cause analysis.Take steps to implement Preventive Actions and share good examples with other departments.Work on Customer ExperienceCreate a list of customer feedback from Amazon and Wayfair on weekly basis.Find common anomalies in customer feedback.Aggregate the data in terms of collections, size, color, rug type, etc.Do customer tests in DCs to validate customer data.Do Root Cause analysis on the findings.Report on findings and implement action plan together with the business teams in respective countries.Review customer returns data from Amazon, Wayfair and other customers.Work on Quality Inspection Data Review Inspection data from different countries/vendors.Aggregate the data in terms of collections, size, color, rug type, production process, etc.Inspect products in DCs to validate data.Do Root Cause analysis on the findings.Report on findings and implement action plan together with the business teams in respective countries.Review Inspection Reports from International and domestic inspections.Quality Assurance and Quality Control Study and prepare various SOP related to quality and compliance.Perform regular checks/audits, design control systems and implement practice to drive service compliance.Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures, by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.Project Management Research and prepare findings on various projects as assignedPrepare presentation and recommendationsMaintain all project documents in a databaseData Analytic Maintains data by entering new and updated quality inspection report informationPrepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting informationEstablishes entry prioritiesSecures information by completing database backupsQualifications:Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience involved in working on Excel or business intelligence applications like PowerBI etc.Preferred 1-3 years of experience of project managementOrganizational skills must be able to properly manage files, communicate with different areas of the company and utilize network files properlyMust be computer literate in Microsoft office with minimum intermediate Excel skills that involve Pivot Tables, V-lookupsConfidentiality to be maintained as data information and compliance projects dictateTrain coworkers on new SOP as neededMulti-Tasking and prioritizing different projects as neededTakes initiative and works well independentlyAble to lift at least 50 lbs. and able to work standing up during business hours when neededSome physical work is requiredMust be Bilingual in SpanishBA/BS degree preferredWhat We OfferHealth, dental, and vision benefitsPaid parental leave401(k) with employer matchA culture of meritocracy that fosters ongoing growth opportunitiesA stable, growing family-owned company that looks after its employeesLoloi Rugs does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, religion, age, national origin, marital status, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other reason prohibited by law in provision of employment opportunities and benefits.
