Logistics Analyst

Position Overview:Responsible for facilitating import operations of Del Monte Fresh Produce to ensure timely clearances of our produce into the US MarketKey Areas of Responsibility:Assist with all import operations of DMFP.Filing ISF's for US import cargo.Responsible for preparing US and Canadian commercial invoices for Customs purposes.Support the N.A. Product Teams with coordination of cargo movements from arrival ports to final destination.Process all vendor invoices for Customs Compliance Department including DMFP's Periodic Monthly statement invoices.Assist Global Logistics Department with reporting and accounting issues in financial journals.Responsible for reviewing invoices for the proper vendor, address, amount, and duties.Assist with quarterly value reconciliation for Customs value purposes.Required Skills and Competencies:Bachelor's degree in international business or business administration. 5+ years of experience in ocean import logistics, shipping, Customs brokerage, and supply-chain management ideally from a multinational company.10+ total years of working experience in multinational, professional organizations, ideally from shipping/logistics department.Outstanding knowledge and understanding of supply chain operations.Organizational skills that reflect ability to work independently, and efficiently perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.Experience working in global, multicultural environments with required cultural awareness.Excellent management, time-management, and problem-solving skills.Outstanding communication and presentational skills.Bilingual with fluent skills in Spanish and English.Required to ***** on as needed basis.
