To learn more visit us at Title: SHIPPING COORDINATOR Job Summary:As a Shipping Coordinator you are responsible for the operation of the Shipping and Inventory Control functions of the Strongsville, OH facility to ensure workload is completed safely in an accurate timely manner within goals and guidelines.Duties/Responsibilities:Work with a "Safety First" mindsetPrint Inventory Cycle Counts sheets.Schedule trucks through UTS, Fed Ex, UPS and other LTL carriers systems Verify and keep accurate records on incoming and outgoing shipmentsWork closely with Customer Service, Production and SchedulingShipping:Print pre-shippers.Email pick up information if needed per shipping comments.Update customer portals - ASN's, labels and set up the shipment for all ASN customers.Generate shipping documentation to include Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, Export documents, and commercial invoices. Other duties as assigned. Inventory Control:Conduct cycle counts for all inventory types.Investigate and reconcile Inventory discrepanciesWork with IPR and Production Supervisors to resolve all differences between production reporting quantities and actual quantities moved to Finished Goods.Maintain inventory control records for Warehouse and ensure the accuracy, and completeness, of all inventory items and Finished Goods.Required Skills/Abilities: General proficiency of Microsoft Excel, Word, & Outlook preferred.Demonstrated communication skills both verbal and writtenAction oriented and demonstrated ability to work with limited directionDemonstrated ability to manage time effectively and successfully handle multiple tasksKnowledge of both receiving/shipping/ inventory systems both computerized and manual is a plusWorking knowledge of SAP is a plusEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.1 year of Warehouse/Transportation experience preferred but not requiredPhysical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 50lbs with assistance, at timesMust be able to climb a rolling ladder (up to 20ft at times)Must be able to push a rolling ladderEqual Opportunity Statement:CCL is an equal opportunity employer.
