The ideal candidate should be highly detail-oriented and willing to learn AutoCAD, though prior experience is not required. The role primarily involves updating electronic files, ensuring compliance documentation is accurate, and working closely with compliance engineers and other departments. While the initial project is expected to be completed by the end of June, there is long-term potential for the right candidate.Maintain and update compliance documentation in databases and spreadsheets.Review and verify documentation, including assembly drawings, Bills of Materials, installation manuals, product labels, and descriptions.Complete all required steps for regulatory compliance projects.Prepare agency submittals by collecting, comparing, and summarizing information.Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance for completed agency projects.Provide administrative support to compliance engineers.Organize and maintain both current and archived agency procedure files and product documentation.Initiate engineering change notices to update internal product information.Modify or create label drawings based on product management changes or agency requirements.Attend weekly department meetings to provide project status updates.***Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Basic knowledge of internet use and email communication.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Previous experience in an engineering environment preferred.Introductory knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
