Our commitment to innovation, excellence, and customer satisfaction drives everything we do.Position Overview:We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Manager to lead and manage the quality assurance functions within our operations. The Quality Manager will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the quality systems and ensuring that products meet both customer specifications and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, fostering cross-departmental collaboration, and overseeing quality-related issues from the supply chain to customer delivery.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the 8D problem-solving teams to address customer-related quality issues, ensuring issues are tracked, resolved, and documented appropriately.Act as the primary liaison for all customer quality concerns, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution.Support internal departments in the development and maintenance of quality systems, corrective actions, and process improvements.Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEM personnel, QA Managers/Directors, and other key stakeholders.Support supplier selection, certification, and ongoing performance monitoring to ensure product quality and compliance.Contribute to improvements in statistical process control (SPC) both internally and across the supply chain.Oversee and execute all APQP-related activities and ensure compliance with all Quality Management System requirements.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring year-over-year quality advancements through tools such as the BEST Wheel and PREP process.Develop the annual Quality business plan, including budgeting and resource forecasting for quality initiatives.Ensure customer-specific requirements are met and compliance is maintained across all operations.Lead training efforts to enhance the team's technical capabilities and maintain required certifications.Manage, supervise, and mentor quality personnel to ensure high performance and continuous professional development.Report monthly quality PREP results to the management team, while tracking customer-related costs such as complaints, sorting, and inspections.Coordinate and manage travel to customer sites for presentations, corrective action reports, and other quality-related needs.Perform additional duties as required in support of organizational and departmental goals.Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards, including OHSA and environmental regulations.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience is required.Certification as an ASQC Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Auditor, or Certified Quality Manager is highly preferred.Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.In-depth knowledge of Quality Systems, with demonstrated ability to implement and improve these systems.Expertise in Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA) and problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5Phase, 7Step, Root Cause Analysis).Strong leadership, project management, and facilitation skills with the ability to influence and drive change.Proven ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues efficiently.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.Analytical, strategic thinking with a focus on results and continuous improvement.Core Competencies:Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams effectively, with a focus on collaboration and achieving results.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, capable of identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions.Strategic Thinking: Ability to align quality initiatives with broader organizational goals and industry standards.Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, team members, and management.Team Collaboration: Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and mutual respect within the quality department and beyond.Why Join Us?Be part of a leading organization with a strong commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.Opportunity to influence and drive quality initiatives across multiple sectors and regions.Competitive compensation package with comprehensive benefits.Collaborative, innovative, and growth-oriented work environment.Leadership opportunities and professional development support.
