Our client, a leading custom equipment manufacturer specializing in robotic and automated air blast resurfacing systems, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team in Langhorne, PA!In this role, youll play a crucial part in driving manufacturing improvements, optimizing workflows, and enhancing product quality while maintaining cost-efficiency. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to evaluate and refine existing processes, implement lean practices, and design innovative fixtures to streamline production. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, proficiency in Plasma CNC programming, and experience with Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks or PRO E.If youre ready to take the next step in your career with a company that values innovation and offers substantial professional growth, we encourage you to apply!Key Responsibilities:Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance quality, productivity, safety, and reduce costs, leveraging fabrication processes and equipment like MiG welding, plasma/waterjet, press brakes, saws, power rollers, and lathes.Create and document standard work procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.Conduct time and motion studies to establish production benchmarks and streamline workflows.Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize product designs for manufacturability.Create programs for basic CNC machines, including milling machines and lathes, ensuring efficient and precise production.Address and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations.Lead the implementation of lean manufacturing practices to increase efficiency across production areas.Design and refine manufacturing fixtures in CAD to enhance processes and improve workflow.Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry practices to implement cutting-edge improvements to manufacturing processes.Maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOM) and production routing to ensure accuracy.Requirements:5+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.Proficiency in Plasma CNC programming.Experience with Autodesk Inventor (SolidWorks or PRO E also considered).Strong knowledge of fabrication processes and equipment, including MiG Welding, Plasma/Waterjet, and CNC machining.B.S.
