Quality Engineer

This is an on-site position in the Augusta, GA area.A qualified candidate will *****B.S. Engineering or Applied Science discipline or equivalent work experience. Two (2+) plus years of experience in the Quality Engineering/Assurance field.Excellent written and verbal communication.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).Proactive in identifying issues and raising concerns.Demonstrated problem-solving skills.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Working knowledge of data analysis, analytical interpretation, methodology, and statistical analysis.Ability to work independently and function well in a high paced environment.Background in ISO9001 environment preferred or knowledge of ISO9001. Similar quality system experience such as AS9100, ISO13485 or IATF16949.Experience applying SPC techniques is preferred.ASQ certification preferred.
