Job **Guide step by step the necessary process to work as a SCA contractorEnsure the construction work is conducted according to the project specifications, contract drawings, approved submittals and shop drawingsEnsure the project procedures are conducted according to the quality specifications, and the safety regulations,Monitor the project phases closely to ensure delivery of the project in a timely manner according to the project scheduleCoordinate, attend and manage the project meetings such as pre-construction, kickoff, quality, safety, open issues, and progress meetingsParticipate in the project design developmentSupervise Project Officers work activity to ensure the completion of projects according to the schedule, quality specifications, and safety regulationsReview and process site safety plans and safety logs with the coordination of the agency safety unitKeep track of the project permitting process and inspections from start to completion and closeoutEnsure the construction is in accordance with the building code and NYC SCA specificationsOversee and assist the document control team with tracking the project documents and submittal processReview and negotiate the additional field change ordersSchedule and coordinate field quality inspection and testing for various phasesPrepare and follow up with the contractors on all required punch list items to closeProject Officer **Should have a minimum four (4) year technical degree from an accredited collegeMinimum of 5 years work experience in Construction Management/Project Management of vertical construction projects.OSHA 30-hour health & safety course required4-hour supported scaffold required
