Job ***** Control Systems Engineer (Full-Time)** Odessa, Houston, TX (Preference is in Odessa) Full-TimeJob **Join the I/E & Control Systems Department to provide control systems engineering for large-scale industrial projects in midstream gas processing, petroleum refining, petrochemical, and upstream oil & gas industries.Key *Lead control systems engineering for selected projects, including PLC/DCS programming and HMI configuration.Collaborate with engineering disciplines, project managers, and clients.Contribute to project schedules and maintain timelines for designated projects.Conduct work process reviews and approve drawings as the lead engineer.Develop IO lists from P&IDs and vendor drawings.Perform hardware/software Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and site-specific control system commissioning.Provide man-hour and equipment estimates for project proposals.Travel up to 30% for project commissioning and site activities. BS in Electrical Engineering or related field; or equivalent experience in I/E & control systems.5+ years of control systems engineering experience (10+ years preferred).Proficiency with Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLCs and Wonderware HMI development.Delta V programming experience and industrial networking knowledge a plus. EIT required; ability to obtain full licensure upon joining.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Experience with commissioning and start-up processes.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Physical **Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.Capability to stand or walk for long periods on-site and carry up to 50 pounds.Additional ****Ability to work effectively under pressure while managing multiple activities.Self-motivated and dedicated to accomplishing tasks efficiently.A professional and ethical approach to work with a strong team-oriented mindset.
