Control Engineer

Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, & Program PLC systems for automation and control applications.• Maintain BOM and part information in the ERP system.• Create and interpret detailed wiring schematics for electrical systems.• Conduct troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company safety protocols.• Prepare documentation, including technical reports, diagrams, and operation manuals.• Train and support technicians and end-users on electrical systems and controls.Knowledge and Education• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related field.• Minimum 3 years of experience in PLC programming, wiring schematics, and troubleshooting.• Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block Diagram.• Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostic tools and equipment.• Understanding of testing, certification , and marking requirements for instrumentation equipment in electrically classified areas.• Strong knowledge of National Electrical Codes (NEC), standards, and safety practices.• Knowledge of NEC, ATEX, IECE & IECEx codes that govern electrical equipment used in explosive environments.• Panel design and build experience preferred.
