Throughout the years, this manufacturer has accumulated several publications and patents that have helped shape the specialty chemical industry and cemented their place as one of the go-to companies for custom synthesis and problem consultation in the southeast US - focusing on providing quality products while continuing to lead the way with innovative technologies, custom manufacturing, and close customer partnerships.What They ***** Full benefits package401k Match Bi-Annual Performance BonusesLTD, STDAnd More!What You **Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (preferred).Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.Previous experience in plant maintenance or facilities managementStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems as well as industrial utilities (boilers, compressors, electrical distribution, etc.)Experience with CMMS software, inventory management, and preventative maintenance systems.What Your Role Will Look *The Plant Engineer is responsible for managing the maintenance shop's operations, including overseeing personnel issues, coordinating maintenance activities, managing inventory, training, plant utilities, and overall facility upkeep. This role works closely with the Operations Manager to ensure all utilities, systems, and facilities are maintained to the highest standards to support uninterrupted plant operations.Oversee all personnel-related issues within the maintenance shop.Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and provide effective solutions to minimize operational disruption.Issue purchase orders for necessary maintenance materials and work cross functionally to ensure proper stock levels and procurement.Responsible for developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the maintenance department. Supervise the training program for maintenance personnel.Create and update Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks and schedules.Responsible for supervising the use of the CMMS software and identifying any training needed.Responsible for overseeing proper operation, maintenance, upkeep, and requests related to the following **** boilers and steam distribution, air compressors, forklifts, buildings (janitorial, HVAC, lighting, plumbing), grounds maintenance, electrical power, city water, natural gas, nitrogen, parking, railroad maintenance.Assign personnel to Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) discussions, ensuring proper participation in safety-related evaluations.Coordinates and approves the scheduling of external contractors for maintenance or construction projects.About HTI Human Technologies, Inc.
