Manufacturing Quality Manager

Our client is a privately-held manufacturing firm with operations in the Bluefield, VA area. They are seeking a Quality Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Quality Engineers and Technicians to ensure manufacturing and distribution processes meet customer quality expectations. You will own quality processes from incoming inspection of supplied components, to manufacturing, through customer delivery. Additional responsibilities include managing the preparation for ISO audits and taking the lead on facilitating on-site audits by ISO and other regulatory and customer bodies.The ideal candidate will **Earned a bachelors degree in business, engineering or other relevant fields of studyHave 10 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing setting with at least 3 years of experience managing direct reportsExperience leading ISO 9001 and 14001 auditsDemonstrated ability to use formal problem solving methodologies and Lean principles to drive process control and productivity improvementsOur client **A competitive salary and benefit packageHybrid schedule (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)Fast-paced, team environment
