Amperesand is building a global company and looking for talent across our geographies.Responsibilities:Be the voice of the customer, ensure we prioritize the most important customer problems to drive maximum value. Collaborate with engineering on product development of new products and pipelineLead market/customer research of pain points to build product use cases, requirements, documentation and inform engineering, compliance, and supply chainCreate a product roadmap for Solid State Transformer systems hardware and software that results in customer delight and maximum growth of quality product deploymentDefine and deliver an advanced AI based software product vision, strategy, roadmapDefine figures of merit to measure customer satisfaction and product performance specification value, and use these to drive the product portfolio and inform our teams on optimal optimization of their work for customer impactInspire by projecting the product vision to internal and external stakeholdersCreate and own product datasheets and manuals to ensure application and installation successValidate that delivered solutions solve intended business objectives against metricsQualifications: Technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical power products4+ years experience in product management/development including customer engagement focus, value proposition development, and power product requirement development with evidence of exceptional impactExceptional experience working with Sales, Design Engineering, Supply Chain, Applications and Project Engineering to drive harmonized and efficiently executed solutions for the customerEvidence of delivering highly technical power, electronics, and software products with clear collection of customer needs and pain points. Driving customer needs to concise product roadmaps with feature rankings by first principles-based value/impactEntrepreneurial mindset with clear bias for informed action and leading new initiatives with limited resources and supportSignificant understanding of electrical, mechanical, and civil works engineering for industrial installations including power circuits, protection systems, backup systems, SCADA, metering, thermal design, site installation needs, commissioning, and compliance requirementsStrong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to discover patterns in larger data and metrics, and drive to decisions/approaches and tracking of product success from this analysisExcellent written and verbal communications in English with all stakeholdersWillingness and ability to travel up to 40% including internationally
