Job DescriptionJob OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Construction Management Intern. This internship will provide hands-on experience in various aspects of the construction industry, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and field supervision.ResponsibilitiesKey Tasks and ResponsibilitiesThe Intern role is an entry-level position requiring limited prior training or relevant work in the administration discipline. This role allows for the acquisition of basic skills to perform routine tasks.The Intern supports the administration group and works closely with their supervisor to follow clearly defined general services procedures. The Intern is a role that allows for the development of new administration-related skills. The Intern is responsible for performing basic administration activities and using existing procedures, to solve straightforward problems.Job Responsibility:Assist project managers in developing project schedules and budgetsReview construction drawings and specificationsAssist in preparing project reports and documentationParticipate in project meetings and discussionsLearn about construction safety protocols and best practicesSupport day-to-day operations by assisting team members with their daily tasks, including administrative duties, data entry, scheduling, and organizing materialsPerform research and analysis on assigned projects or tasks, gather relevant data, and present findings in a clear and concise mannerWork closely with colleagues to contribute ideas, share insights, and provide support for ongoing projectsAssist in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects, ensuring timelines are met and deliverables are achievedParticipate in team meetings, take detailed notes, and provide summaries of discussions and action pointsAssist in the creation, editing, and formatting of various documents, presentations, and reportsRespond to emails, phone calls, and other inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholdersContribute to a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, actively seeking learning opportunities, and demonstrating a positive attitude towards work and colleaguesCurrently pursuing or recently completed a relevant degree or diploma programExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)Ability to pay attention to details and maintain accuracy in all work activitiesStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyProactive problem solver with a willingness to learn new concepts and adapt to new challengesTeam player with a demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a teamProficiency in digital tools including familiarity with standard office software (eg, Microsoft Office) and ability to learn and adapt to new software and tools quicklyQualifications:Essential Qualifications and Education:Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, or a related fieldStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work independently and as part of a teamValid drivers license (preferred)About UsOur ingenuity fuels daily life.
