Transmission Engineer ($150k - $180k)

Vallum Associates are partnering once again with one of our long term clients. Employing over 200 across Europe and the US they have a brand new role for a Transmission Engineer ($150k to $180k) to help build out this function across the US business. Having operating for 7 years in the US they have an impressive portfolio across Solar/BESS & Hydrogen with staff deployed across NYC, TX and CA.This role is 100% remote but will require individuals to be in the Manhattan office for quarterly meetings.What you will be **Working with utility-scale transmission, energy storage systems (BESS), and state-level interconnection processes.Supporting early-stage solar and battery storage designs and ensuring compliance with grid standards.Managing design modifications, reviewing impact studies, and leading technical negotiations with utilities.Providing regular interconnection updates to management.What we *Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).Minimum of 3 of experience in renewable energy transmission and interconnection.Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.Hands on experience with PSSE/TARA, power flow/short circuit analysis, interconnection studies, etc.What to ****$150k to $180k base salaryLTIP20% bonus401k
