We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Facilties Management to join our team and oversee the success of our restaurants.Position Summary:This leadership role will oversee the facilities management and construction projects across our portfolio of restaurant properties. Ensures that all facilities meet company standards for cleanliness, functionality, and compliance with health, safety, and regulatory guidelines. This role requires a strong focus on cost management, vendor relations, and long-term facilities strategy to optimize operational performance and minimize downtime.Benefits and Perks:Industry-leading compensation and bonusCell phone allowanceVehicle allowanceVacation pay, medical, dental and vision insuranceLifestyle Spending Account, this benefit supports you and your family in numerous ways such as through gym memberships, childcare, groceries, student loans & more!Company dining package with allotted spending amount each monthVariety of Supplemental Benefit Plans for lifes unknowns401k with annual employer match after 12 months (ER match 25% of the first 5% contribution)Employer paid life Insurance throughout the length of employmentPaid/Floating holidays for 5 major holidaysEducation Assistance Program (EdAP) for hospitality related education growthEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) to assist with work life balanceManagement Referral Program with up to a $4,000 payout for qualifying management positionsResponsibilities:Develop and implement facilities management policies and procedures.Monitor regulatory compliance to meet safety, health, and building codes.Manage budgeting, forecasting and schedules for CapEx and maintenance projects.Coordination of projects to ensure minimal disruption to restaurant operations.Lead the construction process, review bids, maintain cost detail reports, and manage the project closeout (punch lists).Manage and oversee R&M teams' schedules, productivity and craftmanship.Process AFE's (Authorization for Expenditure) for the restaurants by investigating scope of work or item required, obtaining and reviewing multiple bids, awarding job to the best supplier with regards to price, quality, timeliness and warranty.Obtain all necessary approvals, schedule work or delivery/install of item, and approve invoices for payment upon completion.Assist in pre-qualifying, hiring and overseeing consultants and contractors.Supervises the General Contractor's adherence to required quality and workmanship.Interface with engineers and architects to assure that plans are complete for submittal to government agencies.Negotiate, resolve problems, and make independent decisions with internal and external partners/vendors while adhering to construction budgets and guidelines.Establish and maintain vendor relationships to ensure quality service/products and competitive prices are being obtained.Be proficient in and leverage the company's technology, Ecotrak and Jolt, to identify and track maintenance needs and timelines of projects.Direct restaurant operations teams with any repair or maintenance issues. This includes being available for advice during off-hours and responding timely to all repair and maintenance needs.Keep updated with technological advances in equipment, building materials, products and processes to generate cost-saving initiatives.Manage projects as assigned by the Executive team.Prioritize jobs based on urgency and budgetary constraints.Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree in facilities or construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field highly preferred.Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in construction and facilities management, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant industry.Proven track record of managing large-scale construction and renovation projects.Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.Facilities Management Certification a plusRequired Skills:Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and cost management.Tech-savvy with strong experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint programs as well as facilities management software.Excellent hospitality and teamwork skills.Strong organizational, communication and time management skills.Ability to multi-task.Disclaimer:The above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; and is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
