Construction Superintendent Opportunity - Du Quoin, IL We're seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee a 7MW Ground Mount Solar Project in Du Quoin, Illinois, with additional responsibilities for a 6MW project in Indiana.This is a 12-month contract with 100% on-site presence required, Monday through Friday. Occasional travel to Indiana will be covered, including flights, rental cars, mileage, and hotel expenses.Key Requirements:3-5 years of construction experience in renewable energy projectsStrong electrical backgroundExperience supervising subcontractors and managing site QA/QCAbility to read and interpret mechanical, civil, and electrical blueprints and drawingsExcellent organizational and communication skillsCore Responsibilities:Supervise and direct on-site personnel, including subcontractors and electriciansEnsure compliance with safety protocols and industry standardsConduct site inspections, oversee testing, and maintain high-quality installation standardsKeep stakeholders informed through regular updates and progress reportsMaintain thorough project documentationCoordinate with engineers, permitting authorities, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless project executionThis is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in impactful renewable energy projects.
