Greenvolt Power North America is seeking an Wind Project Manager to support our mission of creating a cleaner, greener future!Key Responsibilities: Project Oversight:Conduct regularly scheduled project meetings with management, project partners and clients to facilitate, confirm, and communicate the status of the project execution plan, schedule, and engineering, procurement, and construction activities.Assess engineering support for development and permitting activities as needed.Monitoring the design, engineering, and construction of wind energy projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards and project timelines.Participate and assist with the project due diligence , development and construction.Work with Asset Management and Operations departments to define the requirements for adequate project turnover and then assist with the transition of the project to Operations upon project completion.Oversee the work product of the Construction Manager(s) and quality control personnel during the execution of the project and ensure compliance with reporting requirements under contracts and lender agreements, and to internal management.Performs other related duties as assigned.BESS Engineering Expertise Preferred: Deliver engineering expertise for Battery Energy Storage Systems across all project phases: feasibility, development, design, construction (including commissioning), and operation.Support system engineering and integration of BESS components into a holistic system capable of providing all technical functions and commercial services, ensuring high performance.Evaluate BESS supplier equipment proposals and validate full engineering design solutions.Ensure compliance with technical specifications, owner's interfaces, connection requirements, grid codes, cybersecurity, and performance requirements.Define and provide technical parameters to facilitate investment case modeling in line with battery storage industry standards.Develop and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and operational guidelines.Maintain engaged contact with BESS suppliers to monitor BESS products and market trends. Collaboration and Communication:Serve as the primary technical liaison between Greenvolt Power and project partners, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.Prepare and present detailed technical reports on project status, challenges, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. Quality Assurance:Implement and oversee quality control processes during the construction and development phases, ensuring that all work meets established standards and specifications.Conduct site inspections and audits to verify compliance with safety protocols and quality benchmarks.Required Experience and Skills: Educational Background:Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's degree in Engineering, Science, Management or related discipline. Professional Experience:Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in the wind energy sector.BESS experience preferred.Proven track record in overseeing large-scale wind projects from development through construction phases. Technical Proficiency:Proficiency in performance modeling, efficiency calculations, and lifecycle assessments.Strong skills in techno-economic analysis, electrical design review, and stakeholder communication.
