Program ManagerWe are looking for a top performer with experience in leading government contract projectswhich include technology product and services and complex deliverables. The ProgramManager is a designated individual with responsibility for and authority to accomplish programobjectives for development, production, and sustainment to meet the customers operationalrequirements. The Program Manager shall be accountable for credible cost, schedule, andperformance reporting to the Government Program Manager and Contract Officer. TheProgram Manager will manage the overall performance of all activities prescribed by thecontract.Key Roles and Responsibilities:- Maintains overall responsibility for planning, product/service realization, qualityassurance, performance improvement, and product/service delivery for the program incompliance with customer requirements- Manages the program management process including defining objectives, establishingplans, providing direction, implementing plans, measuring performance, reportingresults, and when necessary, adjusting plans to obtain desired results- Exercises oversight of the status of all subordinate projects in a Program and can usethis oversight to support project-level activity to ensure the overall program goals aremet- Be responsible for the delivery of all items listed in the Contract Data Requirements List(CDRL)- Monitor, manage and control costs- Be present at team meetings, schedule reviews, and status meetings- Support customer meetings and working groups when required, travel onsite asnecessary- Manage resources, including fluctuations in resource demand, maintenance of cross-functional skills, and succession planning for maintaining staffing availability andcompetency- Ensure all elements of the SOW are documented with Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs) and continuously updated to remain current- Ensure all work performed under the contract is conducted in compliance with ITgovernance standards- Be responsible for responding to and correcting project related issues- Ensures contract compliance- Identifies potential risk and problem areas and provides recommended solutions- Regularly briefs senior leadership on program status and milestones- Creates and maintains financial results and key metrics of program- Prepare RFI/RFP/RFQ solicitation responses (written and oral)- Work in a collaborative environment with various department teams to support theprogramSkills and attributes for success:- Experience with government contract program management- Understand the government client's culture and operations to influence importantdecisions- Leverage industry leading practices and trends to provide valuable insights to bothinternal and external stakeholdersTo qualify for the role, you must have:- Bachelors degree- 10 years of experience managing large complex government contracts- Must have excellent English verbal and written communication skills- Strong customer service skills are essential- Strong trouble-shooting and diagnostic skills- Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision and the desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment- Adaptability and flexibility to change and openness to learning new skills as required- Attention to detail and accuracy- Ability to travel 10-15%
