As a Senior Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining project schedules to ensure successful execution of construction projects. You will collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and key stakeholders to track progress, mitigate risks, and optimize project timelines.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling software.Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure realistic scheduling and timely completion.Analyze critical path schedules, identify potential risks, and recommend solutions to mitigate delays.Provide regular schedule updates, reports, and progress tracking to senior management.Conduct schedule reviews, resource loading, and time impact analyses for project optimization.Assist in preconstruction planning and baseline schedule development for new projects.Ensure schedules align with contract requirements, project milestones, and industry best practices.Support claims analysis and forensic scheduling, if required.Qualifications5+ years of experience in construction scheduling with a general contractor.Expertise in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other scheduling tools.Strong understanding of critical path method (CPM) scheduling and construction sequencing.Experience working on large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.Ability to interpret drawings, contracts, and project specifications.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify scheduling risks and solutions.Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with project teams.Preferred ExperienceExperience in design-build, ground-up, or large-scale renovation projects.Knowledge of cost/resource loading, earned value management (EVM), and schedule risk analysis.Familiarity with construction claims analysis and delay mitigation strategies.
