Project Manager | Employment Type: Full Time Position | Location: Arizona, remote; up to 25% travel Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 | Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, IRA Match, Technology StipendThe Arizona Media Association is hiring a Project Manager!The mission of the Arizona Media Association is to futureproof Arizona local media and protect its critical role in community connection. The Association is the newly combined operation of the Arizona Broadcasters Association and Arizona Newspapers Association and represents more than 350 local media brands on radio, TV, print and digital. The Association also manages day-to-day operations for the new Arizona Local News Foundation which exists to connect our communities with more local news.The AMA Project Manager will coordinate and help to create Association/Foundation marketing, communications and assist with other projects as needed such as: awards programs, special events, member services and contests. Other assigned projects are likely to include creation of graphics/art and some administrative work and partner outreach. AMA member services currently include everything from research studies to training programs, legal defense, lobbying, advertising messaging, and internship funding. These services are subject to evolve as member needs change. Learn more at .To support the needs of an ever-evolving media industry, the AMA works at a fast pace. This Project Manager is required to represent the association with a buttoned-up, detailed and customer-centric approach that provides prompt answers and information to our members, partners and key stakeholders. Understanding the current local media space is critical.Working independently on a regular basis and as part of a small team in other circumstances, the Project Manager is responsible for maintaining highly detailed systems to ensure the highest quality of work as well as accountability programs to keep teammates and supervisor informed about work progress.The role requires significant independent judgment, attention to detail, and a high technical acuity given the remote-work environment as well as advanced relationship building skills to support stakeholders (most notably high-level leaders from local media brands). The position reports to the Vice President of Member Services of the Arizona Media Association. The Arizona Media Association is an equal opportunity employer.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS· Execute on organization goals and objectives consistent with the mission and vision. · Build and maintain strong relationships with AMA staff, AMA members, ALNF donors, AMA clients and other partners.· Adhere at all times to the AMA Codes of Conduct.· Serve as a key spokesperson for the AMA in marketing materials, always acting with transparency and ethical behavior.· Build excitement and passion with our membership, partners and other key stakeholders.· Make effective presentations to groups of varying sizes.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS· Bachelor's or master's degree in journalism, marketing, communications, non-profit management, business administration or related field.
