As we continue to grow, we're looking for a consistent, organized, hard-working, and self-motivated Senior Project Manager whose leadership role is responsible for managing and executing multiple projects of various sizes and scopes and developing the company's Project Management department.Position Overview:The Senior Project Manager will maintain positive successful relationships with clients from Hand Off until the completion of projects in accordance with established policies and procedures as well as help develop new procedures. They ensure the clients vision is executed properly on time and within budget. The Senior Project Manager also participates in developing Project Managers and improving the efficiency of the Project Management department. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading Project Managers as a group, ensuring a uniform process executed by a team of well-trained Project Managers.Position Responsibilities include:Managing new projects from the time of sale until their completion.Daily communications with multiple clients on various projects.Maintaining project scheduling through consistent and timely communication both with clients and departments.Working through details of the construction process with fabrication and drafting to ensure quality and clients needs are met in a timely manner.Using company standards to extract, compile, and organize all documents and information pertaining to an event or project, ensuring budgets and proper tracking are being maintained.Oversee in-house fabrication, vendor management, installation, and load-out of all elements within the scope of a project.Sourcing and purchasing materials and coordinating with outside vendors.Procuring samples for the project both outsourced and in-house.Coordinating and managing all project logistics.Keep up with project execution, change orders, and complex potential problems.Managing quality control to meet company standards.Maintaining a positive, goal-driven attitude at all times.Willing to cooperate and communicate with various team members to achieve the best results in all aspects of management.Onboarding, training, and coaching of Project Managers.Participation in performance reviews for Project Managers.Participation in reviewing Project Management candidates in the hiring process.Assistance in coordinating seasonal or freelance Project Managers.Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors.Contribute to company efficiencies, policies, and standard operating procedures.Position Requirements:Skills and Knowledge:Bachelor's Degree in Arts or Engineering is preferred. Project Managers are required to be proficient in Rhino3D or other approved modeling software, Google Suite, and various related software. PMs must have extensive knowledge of various fabrication methods. Ability to adapt to changing work environments while handling multiple priorities. Detail-oriented with an eye for efficiency. Experience:5 years of technical fabrication/design experience is preferred, with at least 3 years of direct experience working as a Project Manager in custom fabrication and event-based industries.Experience managing staff in construction or fabrication settings.Understanding of various types of fabrication and building methods.Ability to read and redline technical drawings.Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Maintaining a personal efficient work schedule to self-manage and communicate availability.Ability to work with others to resolve issues and determine underlying issues to prevent future issues.Education:Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering, Design, or Art-related fields.Required: Extensive knowledge of various fabrication methods.What We Offer:Position Type: Full-TimeBase salary: $100,000-$110,000 per year, commensurate with experiencePercentage stipend for Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Benefits PlansPaid Time OffSavings Incentive Match Plan for EmployeesHow to Apply:This full-time position is available immediately and benefits are eligible after a short trial period including healthcare and paid time off.If you think you would be a good fit at The Factory NYC and have the required experience, please send your resume, work samples, and a cover letter explaining your interest in the positions in response to this posting or email to jobs@The Factory NYC is an equal opportunity employer.
