Chin & Associates, Inc. (R.M. Chin) is seeking a dedicated Assistant Field Engineer with experience in building construction, including new construction, and remodeling projects. The Assistant Field Engineer should be able to demonstrate and provide solid construction management services.Qualification Requirements: Education - bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, civil engineering, or highly-related discipline preferred.Must have 2-3+ years of relevant experience. Experience in buildings, construction, project management office, education, and healthcare facilities a plus previous experience managing multiple construction projects.Experience with building envelope installation and interior trades a plus but not needed.Strong problem solving and change management skills.Excellent communication skills.Candidate must demonstrate a willingness to acquire new responsibilities and skills, and work in a team environment.Key Responsibilities: Manage subcontractors to ensure coordination, scheduling and quality control.Demonstrate solid Construction Management services.Develop & update schedules.Provide construction management & reporting on capital projects.Key Competencies:Strong problem solving and organizational skills.Strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Ability to work independently and balance multiple tasks.Pro-active and takes initiative.Job Offer:Competitive base salary between $70 - 87K, depending on project assignment, experience, skills, and location.
