Project Manager

Project Manager:We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will plan, coordinate, and manage all project aspects, develop timelines, resource plans, and ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations and quality standards. This role reports directly to the Director of Pre-Construction.3-5 years minimum experience in a similar project management or superintendent role.Must be able to read and interpret building blueprints, mechanical plans and civil drawings.Manage subcontractor commitments, change orders, schedule, submittals and the shop drawing process.Work hand in hand with the Architect/Engineer/Owner to ensure the vision of the project is being obtained.Conduct regular progress meetings with Owner/Architect.Work with the Superintendent to update schedule, budget and enforce B&H safety rules and procedures on each project. Update project schedule weekly for distribution to subcontractors/owner.Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring that all milestones and deliverables are met on time.Be familiar with construction industry means and methods for timely production.Investigate cost savings methods, materials, procedures, and generally keep abreast of the state-of-the-art techniques.Ensures adherence to all company, client and project policies, procedures, standards, etc.How We Measure Success:Achievement of individual, department and company goals for buyout margins, profit margins, schedule performance weekly production. Candidate must be an effective communicator and be able to collaborate with the internal team and each client weekly.Time Split:60% Project Management: Schedule building and maintaining, subcontractor buyouts, building budgets and manage all aspects of the project lifecycle30% Collaboration with internal and external associates regarding design-build deliverablesIf you feel you are a great candidate for this role, please email your resume to: josephcasey@ with the subject heading: Sarasota PM Role
