Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater | DallasAbout the JobThe Senior Project Manager provides strategic leadership in the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex water and wastewater construction projects. This role oversees all facets of project management, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and financial performance are met. From initial budget setup through project closeout, the Senior Project Manager ensures project objectives are achieved while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, including owners, design engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.Key ResponsibilitiesSafety Leadership: Champion a culture of safety excellence, ensuring all team members and subcontractors prioritize safety throughout project execution.Project Management: Lead all project phases, including cost planning, labor and material evaluation, risk management, and opportunity analysis, to ensure successful outcomes.Performance Monitoring: Analyze production metrics, ensure accurate reporting, and implement strategies for efficiency and productivity improvements.Contract Administration: Direct subcontractor and material procurement, negotiate favorable agreements, and oversee contractual compliance.Advanced Scheduling: Develop and manage project schedules using advanced planning tools, ensuring milestones are met and projects remain on track.Team Collaboration: Host regular project meetings to address scheduling, submittals, material logistics, RFIs, and quality assurance initiatives.Financial Oversight: Prepare owner billings, monitor payments, and manage project closeout activities, ensuring compliance with budget and contract terms.Conflict Resolution: Anticipate project challenges, develop solutions, and resolve conflicts effectively to maintain project progress and stakeholder satisfaction.Leadership & MentorshipInspire and lead project teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability.Mentor and guide less experienced Project Managers and team members to enhance their technical and leadership skills.Build and maintain productive relationships with all project stakeholders.QualificationsBachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.8+ years of experience managing large-scale water/wastewater construction projects.Proven expertise in construction practices, project management principles, and financial oversight.Advanced proficiency in scheduling and project planning tools, such as Primavera P6.Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.BenefitsWe offer a comprehensive compensation package, including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, along with a matching 401(k) plan.
