Senior Proposal SpecialistLocation: Garden Grove, CA (Orange County)Work Environment: 100% On-siteAbout the Role:As a Senior Proposal Specialist, you will play a critical role in crafting and managing high-quality proposals and related documentation. Your work will ensure all proposals are comprehensive, compelling, and align with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Proposal Development:Prepare pre-qualification and bid proposal packages as needed.Organize and maintain file structures for project-specific Requests for Qualification (RFQ) and bid proposals.Oversee all RFQ and bid-related documents, including client-provided materials, internally developed content, and final submissions.Project Coordination:Lead the preparation of bid proposals, including scope, resumes, project lists, organizational charts, and support documents.Develop deliverable lists, timelines, and submission requirements, ensuring seamless project execution.Collaboration & Presentation:Work with internal teams to design and develop PowerPoint presentations.Partner with Marketing to implement tools and processes that adhere to Southland standards for future project documentation.Marketing Support:Collaborate with the Marketing team to maintain project data for press releases, project profiles, and case studies.Assist in coordinating media opportunities and trade show schedules with the Marketing team.What You'll Bring:Strong project management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.Sharp research and analytical skills.Expertise in writing, editing, and proofreading content.Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Proficiency in MS Office and MS Visio; Adobe Creative Suite experience is required.A proactive, self-directed work ethic with discretion and independent judgment.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 2 years of experience in writing, editing, and preparing technical documentation, including proposals.Project management experience is preferred.Background in the engineering or construction industry is a plus.Why Join Us?Be part of a dynamic, collaborative team where your skills in proposal development and marketing coordination will directly contribute to our success.
