Director of EngineeringLocation: San Jose, CA (10% local travel)Duration: Direct HireSalary: $185K - $240KResponsibilities:Oversee day-to-day operations of Engineering and in-house detailing teamsProvide hands-on support for Quality ControlMentor engineers to promote internal growthSet goals aligned with company values and objectivesWork with finance to integrate engineering plans into strategic and financial forecastsHire and train new engineering team membersPrepare and manage the Engineering team budgetPerform other duties as neededRequirements:10 years of HVAC and/or plumbing experience for commercial/industrial projects5-10 years of experience leading a team of engineers4-year engineering degree or equivalentCalifornia Professional Engineer (PE) license preferredExcellent understanding of engineering fundamentalsKnowledge of system types, equipment, installation standards, and proceduresProficient in Energy Pro, Trace 700, AutoCAD 2023 or laterRevit 2024 or BIM experience preferredExperience with mechanical contractors or engineering consultants preferredIf you meet these qualifications and are interested, please send your resume to carly.dilworth@.
