Position SummaryAs a Heavy Civil Estimator youll be tasked to develop precise cost estimates, assess project plans, and collaborate closely with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring top-quality project delivery within budget. Ideal candidates possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and deep knowledge of the Austin construction market.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate accurate estimates based on project blueprints, labor needs, material costs, and project timelines.Partner with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive bids.Prepare detailed reports and present project estimates to internal teams and clients.Monitor Austin-area market trends, material costs, and local construction regulations and codes.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.At least 2 years of construction estimating experience, ideally in heavy civil projects.Proficiency with construction estimating software (such as ProEst, PlanSwift) and Excel.Solid understanding of Austin-specific construction costs, codes, and market trends.BenefitsCompetitive salaryHealth insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off (PTO) and holidays
