We are representing a top general contractor recognized for delivering high-profile commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. With a strong commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency, our client is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent.The OpportunityAs a Senior Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily field operations, ensuring projects are executed according to schedule, budget, and quality standards. This position requires a proactive leader with expertise in managing large-scale construction projects, coordinating with subcontractors, and driving successful project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Oversight & ExecutionLead the on-site construction team, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.Develop and implement site logistics plans, project schedules, and work sequencing strategies.Coordinate and oversee all field activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and contract requirements.Safety & Quality ManagementEnforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.Conduct regular job site inspections to monitor safety, quality, and compliance.Ensure adherence to industry best practices and company quality control standards.Schedule & CoordinationWork closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain and adjust project schedules.Identify and mitigate potential delays, proactively resolving challenges to keep the project on track.Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring work is completed per plans and specifications.Communication & LeadershipServe as the primary field representative, liaising with clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors.Conduct daily huddles and weekly site meetings to review progress, safety, and upcoming milestones.Mentor and develop junior superintendents and field staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.Resource & Budget ManagementManage and optimize labor, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency and control costs.Collaborate with procurement and project teams to ensure timely material deliveries.Assist in change order management, ensuring proper documentation and budget tracking.Qualifications7+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction, with a track record of managing large-scale projects.Strong expertise in construction sequencing, site logistics, and subcontractor coordination.Experience with ground-up, renovation, and fast-track construction projects.In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety compliance, and quality control standards.Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or other construction management software.
