Throughout the year they host many company events and want you to feel like this could be a long term home.For the Superintendents, this GC is a well-oiled machine, and this is due to having a strong, established project management team, experienced leadership in the field, and a long-term group of sub-contractors. Your next role - SuperintendentThe core responsibilities needed for this role are:Schedule & layoutsLook Ahead - Always look at least 2 weeks ahead and plan what happens next.Constant Supervision - The Superintendent must remain on site at all ALL times while work is in progress.Site Meetings - Weekly site meetings are required. Superintendents are fully responsible for documenting and communicating any and all information to the team and appropriate parties. Site meetings are a useful tool to address open RFIs, changes, submittals, issues, etc.RFIs - The super should write an RFI for any problemsSubmittals/Shop Drawings - Review all doors, hardware, toilet hardware, stone, tile, etc.Postings - Keep permits and current schedule posted on job site.Cleanliness - Keep job site clean and plan table organized at all times.Quality Control - As the job is being put together, always check where and how items arebeing installed. Bring to the attention of the subs what isnt acceptable.Inspections - When inspections are called by the subs, always call the subs office to confirm that indeed the inspection was called in.Safety Meetings - Weekly safety meetings/toolbox talks are required.You will complete these types of Projects, 1 at a time!High end restaurantsHospitalityCountry clubs 12 - 18 weeks interior build out | 18 -24 on the ground up.Project locations: North Miami to West Palm - They will aim to keep you local Construction software: ProcureWhat you need to be successfulThe successful superintendent must have at least 2 proven restaurant projects under their belt as the lead superintendent from start to finish. A heavy project list in interiors, build-out, and TI will be beneficial. Communication of course will be key, in a fast-paced environment. Other key characteristics are, having attention to detail, a team player, be able to build relationships internally and externally, and being a natural leader.
