POSITION SUMMARYThe Facilities & Construction Project Director plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing various projects related to facilities and infrastructure within an organization. This position requires a combination of project management skills, knowledge of facilities management, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks to ensure the successful execution of projects. The Facilities & Construction Project Manager works closely with various stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.OBJECTIVESLead and motivate project teams, including contractors and subcontractors.Develop and maintain project schedulesMonitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to the budget.Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.Prepare and review project contracts, change orders, and other legal documents.Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and permits.COMPETENCIESImplement quality control measures to meet or exceed project standards.Monitor and address issues that may impact the project timeline or budget.Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities.Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.Effective communication and negotiation skills.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
