Job DescriptionThe Sack Company, has an opening for a self-motivated individual to join our team as a Project Manager. This position will work from our Statesboro, GA office.About Us: The Sack Company is a commercial MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Sprinkler Millwright & Rigging) company that is currently looking for motivated candidates to join our Fire Sprinkler Department as a Project Manager.Essential FunctionsDirectly coordinates with field regarding project production, quality, safety, and subcontractor performance.Develops and assists in the scheduling of work to ensure timely completion.Reviews in-progress designs generated by team member for accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of product.Mobilizes and de-mobilizes sites as applicable.Reviews plans and specifications to determine scope of work.Generates rough order magnitude job cost analysis.Coordinates and conducts site visits and generates subsequent site visit reports. Also attends in-progress design reviews, pre-construction meetings and in-progress site visits as applicable.Skillfully communicates with client/subcontractors.Responsibilities and Duties:Coordinate and manage all active installation/contract jobsCoordinate project milestones with internal departments, such as estimating, design, purchasing, fabrication, and installationLead internal project meetings, including those focused on project kickoff, job progress, design coordination, fabrication scheduling, budget-to-actual hours, etc.Oversee and communicate project progression from inception to completion, including design, permits, material delivery, labor schedules, and field installationCoordinate with internal departments to ensure proper handover of job information and assess risks throughout the project lifecycleAttend job site meetings as the company representative with customers or project stakeholders, such as general contractorsLead coordination of project close-out/commissioning with authorities, owners, architects/engineers, and contractorsTrack, manage, and approve all contract change ordersMaintain accurate project progress/completion reports and ensure logs and documentation are updatedUse ERP systems to manage job performanceReview job plans and stock-lists/cut-sheets to improve job efficiencyConduct site visits to monitor status and progression for timely project completionPerform other duties as assignedQualifications and Skills, Education and Experience:Minimum of 3 years of direct work experience in project managementKnowledge of fire sprinkler systems is requiredExperience planning and executing commercial projects ranging from $100k to $5MMProven ability to problem-solve and work through project challengesExperience utilizing project management softwareSkills, Knowledge, and Abilities:Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments with strong adherence to deadlinesProven use of effective project management techniques to enhance job performance across all stagesSelf-starter with strong initiative and leadership skillsTeam-oriented with strong attention to detailEffective communicator with the ability to facilitate project meetingsBenefits:· 401(k) matching· Dental insurance· Employee discount· Health insurance (Free plan for one individual employee)· Life insurance- $20,000 life insurance after 6 months· Paid time off· Parental leave· Referral program· Relocation assistance· Vision insurance· 8 paid holidaysJob Type: Full-time
