Construction Estimator (Commercial Interiors GC)

The estimating position must ensure that all projects are set up properly in the preconstruction, budgeting and bidding phases in order to be executed to its highest standard throughout the building construction process. This involves work as an estimator, scheduler, budgeter, and communicator with PMs, clients / owners, architect / engineering consultants, and field staff.General ResponsibilitiesManage pre-con estimating assignments on multiple corporate interior fit-out projects ($3-20Mill)Understand and execute multiple delivery methods including hard bid, negotiated, and design build.Proficient in Estimating Software including Procore, Smartbid, Plan Swift, MC2, Bluebeam and Microsoft office applicationsAbility to read project plans, perform project takeoff, and interpret project specifications.Develop comprehensive understanding of project strategy and deploy this throughout the preconstruction/estimating process.Provide detailed and accurate information in a timely manner.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in relevant field3+ years of experience in commercial constructionExcellent communication skillsAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
