Olympia Provisions is a nationally renowned charcuterie company and restaurant group in Portland, Oregon and we are growing our production warehouse sales team. The Retail Account Manager drives sales growth by achieving revenue targets, expanding category share, and securing new accounts while ensuring strong ROI on marketing spend. They build strong retail relationships through regular engagement, training, and exceptional service, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and compliance. Key responsibilities also include overseeing inventory management, accurate forecasting, on-shelf merchandising, and performance reporting to increase product velocity and reduce shrinkage.Essential FunctionsAchieve revenue and margin targets by meeting or exceeding budgets for existing accounts, securing new accounts, and expanding category share through increased SKUs and departments.Develop, execute and reconcile promotional activities, trade shows, and marketing campaigns to maximize lift, ROI, and performance.Develop and maintain solid relationships with retail partners and distributors through frequent touchpoints, training, and exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction and retention.Monitor and manage inventory levels across distribution and retail networks to maintain product flow, minimize out of stocks, and proactively address long inventory.Oversee on-shelf product appearance, ensure compliance with planograms, and execute merchandising strategies to maximize visibility and velocity.Regularly analyze competitor products, pricing, and market trends to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.Provide and update a rolling three-month revenue forecast and adjust inventory par levels to align production with demand.Resolve pricing, discount, promotional, and payment discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records and strengthen account relationships.Prepare reports on sales performance, promotional results, and inventory health to identify improvement opportunities and drive data-informed decisions.Manage expense budgets, ensure customer compliance with contracts and agreements, and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and business growth.Regularly visit accounts to strengthen relationships, review performance, and ensure adherence to merchandising and promotional strategies.Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements:5+ years of successful experience in B2B Account ManagementExperience in the food or food sales areas, with knowledge of sales/marketing in the boutique and/or niche food industry.Experience working with grocery accounts such as Kroger, Whole Foods, Costco, New SeasonsExperience working with distributor accounts such as Tonys, GFI, KeheUnderstanding of competition, product markets, and macro trends.Passion for building relationships and driving sales, experience with broker partners, and strategy execution.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.Proficiency in analyzing data in ExcelPassion for delicious foodValid drivers license with a clean driving record and availability for flexible scheduling, including nights and weekends.Work Environment:This roles duties are performed in both an office setting and a home office, with significant travel requirements. The position involves travel by car and plane to visit accounts, attend trade shows, meetings, and market visits across the assigned region.Physical Demands:While in the office or working from home, there is an occasional requirement to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
