Bison has led the industry in the design and manufacture of Pedestals and hardwood Deck Tiles that create beautiful rooftop environments. Bison manufactures the pedestals onsite in our facility in Denver, CO. We pride ourselves on our excellent reputation both for top-rated customer service, but also as an employer offering competitive compensation, benefits, and growth to all of our employees.In this unique role, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering sell-in and sell-through strategies of the Bison Level Up products into the Big Box, Hardware, and Lumber Channels of Distribution in the United States and Canada. This individual will collaborate with other RPM International Companies to implement and execute these strategies, with a Push-Pull mentality, leveraging the services and efficiencies in place today. Internally they will lead all Bison teams to execute delivery of products, create new product opportunities, and communicate all pricing and product capabilities. You will serve as a thought partner and influencer to our global cross functional teams and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions to the landscape, hardscape, and decking market.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.í˜ 75% of time will lead, develop, and deliver all sales and marketing initiatives for identified accounts to meet targeted goalsí˜ 25% of time will lead, develop, and execute using the milestone process to support new product initiatives specific to targeted accountsDevelop and execute strategic initiatives, with our RPM partners, for organic growth with National & Regional Distribution with key top level decision makersHold Bi-Weekly Reviews with RPM National & Regional Sales Leaders to maintain alignment and communicationOversee the go to market workstreams for product launches, campaigns and growth initiatives ensuring differentiated value propositions, cross functional alignment and enablementDevelop and implement differentiated channel go to market strategies to drive partner engagement, revenue growth, and increased Connections Creating Value alignmentDevelop commercialization strategy and planning to align and execute with all new product launchesWork with RPM Business Development Partners to be the support 3-5 year Road Maps for both increased breadth of line and innovation within the channelsIdentify and work with RPM partners for new channel opportunities to expand market reach and increase organic sales opportunities.Collaborate with Bison sales leadership, manufacturing, finance, operations and product teams to develop and implement awareness.Collaborate with RPM Partners to provide training and support to both channel partners and sales team to ensure they are equipped to effectively sell through and support our product portfolio.Establish and work with RPM Partners marketing teams for sales asset needs, playbooks, support sales asset requirements for market leadership position.Analyze market trends, competitor activities and partner performance to optimize channel strategies.Manage annual budget for product evaluations, account management, and T&E.30% of time will be traveling to customers for onsite meetings and possible field work researchSKILLSAbility to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, extract key takeaways from large amounts of data and information to make data-driven decisionsAbility to manage and prioritize several projectsAbility to understand packaging and logistical requirementsAbility to understand manufacturing timelines and financial awarenessAbility to think strategically and tactically to drive the value messaging successAbility to communicate effectively and make high level presentations.Ability to collaborate with different team members across various functions and departmentsBroad and demonstrated understanding of commercialization with the ability to create and execute the delivery to drive product salesExceptional presentation skillsWILLSTake on responsibilities and manage priorities with little guidance.Take ownership of the task(s) and see them through to fruition.Able to present to both top level management and store employeesAble to effectively contribute to a cross functional team environment.Lead team members through development process for effective support and known targetsContinuous improvement mindset for products and servicesQUALIFICATIONS3+ years of experience in sales and/or channel marketing.Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a closely related field.Proficient in Microsoft Office use for data analysis and written communicationComfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Microsoft Teams and SalesforceExperience with marketing analytics, paid advertising campaigns, and social media marketing campaigns.Knowledge of product feedback loop processes and project management tools.LANGUAGE SKILLSSpoken & Written English.
