Reporting directly to the VP, the Account Manager will have full ownership of a portfolio as the single source of accountability. The ideal candidate will have successful experience as a landscape account manager, a willingness to grow and learn, be a self-starter, has a high attention to detail and time-management skills. This position ensures the performance of Simpson Landscape Maintenance, Inc.'s vision, core values and standards to achieve confidence and exceptional service for our clients without compromise and with satisfaction!COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS include:Competitive Base Salary and Commissions on Enhancement SalesBase Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per yearBonus payCommission payHealthcare/Dental/Vision,Take-Home Vehicle with gas cardSchedule: Monday to Friday, Saturdays as neededCellphone & LaptopFlexible PTOPaid holidaysAnnual Performance Review ProcessRESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:Client Satisfaction:Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clientsPerforming site walkthroughs with clients to ensure quality and service expectations are metFacilitating the resolution of client concerns to ensure renewalSales:Proactively presenting site enhancement ideas to your clientsGenerating referrals from existing clients and passing them to the Business DeveloperDeveloping accurate estimates for new and existing clients, maintaining acceptable gross margins that support the branch's financial goalsOperations:Manage the day-to-day operations of your portfolio to ensure that your crews and customers are always taken care of in a safe manner.Identify and communicate resources needed to complete tasks at all levels (crew, customer, individual).Maintaining satisfactory accounts receivable levelsCoordinating with the Office Manager to ensure databases contain up-to-date client informationRELATIONSHIPS AND ROLES:Consistently work as a team with your fellow Account Managers to share industry knowledge and resources.Execute detailed quality audits with customers to identify and provide enhancement and/or quality opportunities on a property then communicate execution to the crews.Promote and advocate company standards to consistently have a positive team environment internally and externally.Inspire and educate teammates to ensure a high level of adoption of new systems.REQUIREMENTS:Strong customer experience and relationship development skills.A minimum of 2 years as a landscape account manager Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.A valid Driver's License and good driving recordKEY TRAITS:Strong steward-leadership qualities- you are not afraid to jump in and help wherever help is needed with an ample dose of humility (i.e., no task is beneath you).Excellent communication skills - being proactive is your number one goal, whether with the customer or your crew members.A team-building mentality- must be interested in building a successful organization through hands-on coaching. In a client-facing role maintaining the client relationship is critically important.ENVIRONMENT:Work is performed in the office and field.
