As a specialized division of TransPerfect Inc., the worlds largest privately owned language services provider, we are the only legal support services provider that also offers a full array of translation, interpretation, and other multilingual solutions.The position of Account Manager is responsible for developing new business relationships and serving as the first level of support to existing clients.What You Will Be Doing:Cold call prospective clientsResearch prospective clients through diverse methods including but not limited to internet research, trade show lists, referrals, various professional directories, and personal investigationCreate accurate spreadsheets of prospective client data including names, titles, phone numbers, addresses, and various other informationGenerate daily mailings to prospective clients using updated and accurate spreadsheetsCreatively problem-solve to improve current new business development strategiesNegotiate rates and deadlines with current and prospective clientsEducate current and prospective clients on the sales process, including TransPerfect rates, justification for turnaround time, and competitor informationWork closely with production to ensure that all projects are handled appropriately with keen attention to detail for outstanding qualityConsistently follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with delivery, quality, and customer serviceResearch and develop a sound understanding of all market industries relevant to TransPerfect, including industry leaders, current events, and any other pertinent dataPerform other special projects or duties as assignedWho We Are Looking For:Your experience includes:1-4 years of sales experienceMinimum Bachelor's degree or equivalentExcellent written and verbal English communication skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong interpersonal skillsEffective time managementDesired Skills:Experience in or selling to law firms and legal clients strongly preferredWhere Your Career Is Going:At TransPerfect, there are a lot of growth opportunities.
