As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic Field Sales Manager to lead and develop our team of Field Sales Representatives across the U.S. This role is critical in driving our market presence, fostering a high-performance sales culture, and ensuring the professional development of our sales team.Position Overview:The Field Sales Manager will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of Field Sales Representatives across multiple territories. This role requires a strategic and people-first leader who can balance sales execution with talent development. The successful candidate will work closely with distributors, key accounts, and internal teams to optimize sales performance and ensure alignment with company objectives.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Team Development:Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor a national team of Field Sales Representatives, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to succeed.Foster a results-driven and collaborative team culture that aligns with the company's strategic goals.Conduct regular field visits, ride-alongs, and one-on-one coaching sessions to assess performance and provide real-time feedback.Identify and implement professional development opportunities to enhance the skill sets of team members.Sales Strategy & Execution:Develop and execute national sales strategies, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all territories.Partner with Field Sales Representatives to drive brand growth, secure new placements, and expand distribution.Monitor sales KPIs and provide actionable insights to improve individual and team performance.Align sales initiatives with company objectives and collaborate with senior leadership to adapt strategies as needed.Distributor & Account Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, ensuring clear communication of sales priorities and goals.Support Field Sales Representatives in developing key account strategies and growing business within their assigned territories.Ensure proper execution of brand programming, promotional initiatives, and in-market activations.Operational Excellence & Reporting:Implement structured performance management processes, including goal setting, tracking, and performance reviews.Utilize tools and sales analytics to assess trends, forecast opportunities, and drive data-driven decision-making.Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, team progress, and market insights to senior leadership.Qualifications:Proven Leadership Experience- 3-5+ years in a field sales leadership role preferably within the spirits, beverage, or consumer goods industry.People-First Mindset- A strong track record of developing and mentoring sales professionals across multiple territories.Results-Oriented- Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, executing strategies, and exceeding targets.Strategic & Analytical Thinker- Ability to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions.Strong Communication & Relationship-Building Skills- Experience managing distributor relationships and working cross-functionally with internal teams.Flexibility & Travel- Ability to travel frequently to visit markets, coach team members, and attend key industry events.Preferred Qualifications:Experience managing a remote sales team across multiple states or regions.Familiarity with major U.S. spirits distributors and key retail and on-premise accounts.
