Job descriptionWilloughby Industries, a leading USA-based manufacturer of commercial plumbing fixtures, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager. This position will be responsible for heading up the promotion and sale of Willoughby's multiple plumbing fixture product lines. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead sales efforts for commercial plumbing fixtures sales in multiple state regionOvernight travel to call on clients and potential clients throughout assigned territory requiredPerform research to identify potential sales call audienceMeet with End Users, Architects, Engineers, Contractors and Wholesalers to present and sell Willoughby productsWork with internal Sales and Engineering teams as intermediary with clients to successfully complete sales of productsSet own travel schedule to effectively make multiple sales calls per dayEstablish and build relationships with clients and potential clients to ensure sales and product satisfactionWork with product specifiers to write specificationsQuote cost of products to clients and potential clientsClear and effective communication with internal Sales, Engineering and Production departments regarding new and ongoing projectsProactively handle sales and project obstacles for clients Drive Willoughby mobile display van for use in sales calls as requiredPosition is salary plus commission Other duties as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLSAbility to travel up to by air and truck throughout assigned territoryAbility to work independently/remotelyPosition based in Indianapolis facility unless proven credentials for performing job remotelyEffectively schedule travel to maximize successful sales call scheduling Proficient in use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe PDF creation and other supplemental software toolsAbility to build and maintain relationships with new and repeat clientsAptitude for managing multiple projects at one timeOutstanding oral and written communication skillsMust have a valid driver's licenseMust be able to pass DOT physical for driving mobile display van EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Established success record as outside sales professionalPrevious business travel experiencePlumbing product knowledge, a plus but not requiredMS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe PDF creation experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:Travel by air and truckLift 20-50 lbs.Clear driving record and valid driver's licenseMust submit to pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical and criminal background check DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:Excellent work historyProven Sales recordMake decisions based on experience and available dataRequire minimal supervision to complete work and meet deadlinesStrives to meet or exceed job requirementsAbility to work well with othersIndustryWholesale Building MaterialsEmployment TypeFull-timeEdit job description
