The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in air and ocean import/export sales, with a strong understanding of compliance and documentation requirements. This role involves negotiating with carriers, trucking companies, and other logistics providers, providing quotes to customers and overseas agents, and sourcing and closing new business prospects.Key ****Manage and grow the air and ocean import/export sales pipeline.Ensure all import and export documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations.Stay updated on changes in compliance requirements and industry standards.Negotiate rates and terms with carriers, trucking companies, and other logistics providers.Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics partners.Provide accurate and competitive quotes to customers and overseas agents.Identify and source new business prospects through calls, emails, and meetings.Present and pitch services to potential clients, closing deals and securing new business.Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth handling of shipments.Coordinate with the finance team for billing and payment issues.Maintain and update CRM and other tracking systems with sales activities and customer interactions.Prepare reports on sales performance and pipeline status.Compensation:$65,000 to $80,000 + commissionExact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
