Our client, a well-known luxury fashion brand, is seeking a dedicated Director of Buying for E-Commerce to join their team on a temporary basis. Must have category experience!***** Handbags & Accessories**Oversee day to day business in leather goods - recapping business, identifying opportunities and key actions to drive current business.Manage all assortment updates from recent buys, including delivery/unit/style changesPartner with merchandising team on any promotional listsManage day to day priorities for Associate Buyer/Assistant Buyer in partnership with VP of BuyingHelping recap business and pull analysis for strategic meetings that VP identifiesAnalysis & hindsight business on the weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to inform future buying decisions and product action plans.Drive the business through a broader understanding and vision of the business, market and industry.Manage cross-functional team relationships on an on-going basis by providing direction on vision, strategy, and meetings to unify team toward a common goal.Communicate product strategies to cross-functional teams in the quarterly Buying Strategy Deck.**Strong organizational, interpersonal and negotiation skillsBA/BS degreeMUST have e-commerce experience and have worked in accessories & leather goodsMinimum 7-10 years in buying on the brand sideStrong written and verbal communication skillsAble to work in a fluid, fast-paced, multi-channel environmentDetail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks at onceProficiency with MAC, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe IllustratorPlease submit your resume for consideration.You can use to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose.
