An international electrical component manufacturing company in the Plymouth, Michigan area is currently searching for a motivated JuniorSales Account Manager to join their office. The ideal candidate will have sales or customer service experience in an industrial environment, and is technical-minded, with ability to independently develop new clients and business opportunities. This is a full-time, direct hire position with a comprehensive benefits package.Junior Sales Account Manager Responsibilities Include: Identify new business development opportunities, and establish relationships with potential customers within assigned sales territoryInterface with customers and clients regarding product issues, quality assurance, questions, etc.Collaboration with sales teams and clients in regards to market analysis, product planning, and expected demandProduct proposal preparation and deliveryCreate price quotations and negotiate price / costs with customers; secure product orders and follow up on tracking and deliveryOccasional business travel as required (up to 20%)Other duties as assignedJunior Sales Account Manager Requirements Include: Bachelor's degree in a Business-related field, OR equivalent work experience1-3 years' sales / account management experience (including internships, co-ops, etc.) in a manufacturing environment preferredValid driver's license and clean driving record is requiredFamiliarity with electrical wiring components (connectors, power distribution systems, sensors, etc.) in the automotive industry is a plusStrong communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environmentAbility to prioritize tasks and good organizational skillsGood computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsWhile performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
