Account Executive - Commercial Flooring & TileJob DescriptionWelker Bros. is seeking an Account Executive with a minimum of 3 years of commercial construction experience to join our work group. This individual will be ultimately responsible for driving business growth and ensuring client satisfaction through exceptional execution and strategic sales & project management efforts. This role will be for commercial projects within our core markets: multi-family, healthcare, higher education, advanced technology, life sciences, K-12 and corporate TI. Account Executives will work closely with all members of the project team, and will be responsible for the following:Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners.Drive business growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposal development to contract negotiation and project delivery.Collaborate directly with all project team members to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.100% detailed/hands-on knowledge of project scope.Material procurement/cost control/billings/collections/change management/cash flows/monthly status reports.Key point of contact with general contractor, owner, architect.Challenge and support jobsite(s) and self-perform work team.Accountable for overall project financial success and customer satisfaction.Qualifications We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess:Excellent communication and relationship building skills.Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.Ability to create and support team morale.Demonstrated understanding of building processes and systems.Work scope requires complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting and forecasting.Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and accounting cost management software.3+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably within Welker Bros. core markets.A strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude.Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and solve problems proactively.Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
