** this is not a position at Forerands, the company is a high-growth, full service Amazon accelerator Job Description - Account Exceutive. The company is looking for a proactive and highly motivated Vice President of Business Development who thrives in a 100% hunter role. This position is ideal for a seasoned sales professional with a deep understanding of the Amazon ecosystem. You will be responsible for driving new business opportunities across both our Agency and Wholesale Buy/Sell models, closing high-value deals, and positioning the company as the premier Amazon partner. Key Responsibilities: â— Focus on New Business: 100% emphasis on net new client acquisition. This is not an account management role. â— Amazon Expertise: Utilize your comprehensive knowledge of the Amazon ecosystem"”including FBA, Seller Central, advertising strategies, compliance, and brand protection"”to provide expert guidance and solutions for prospective clients. â— Wholesale Buy/Sell Targets: Close between $35M-$65M/year in new business on the Wholesale Buy/Sell side, with an expectation of closing 8 deals annually. â— Agency Targets: Close 8 deals annually on the Agency side, generating $750K in revenue. â— Pipeline Generation: Proactively identify, contact, and qualify leads through trade shows, networking, cold outreach, and industry events. â— Prospecting and Outreach: Execute outbound sales tactics, including cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn networking, to build a robust pipeline of prospects. â— Client Meetings: Conduct sales calls to understand client needs, present tailored Amazon solutions, and close dealsRelationship Building: Develop strong relationships with decision-makers at target companies, focusing on C-level executives and business owners. â— Negotiation and Closing: Lead contract negotiations, manage objections, and secure high-value contracts. â— Industry Engagement: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events to generate new business opportunities and enhance brand visibility. â— Sales Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics in HubSpot. Candidate Attributes: â— Hunter Mentality: You thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and have a proven track record of generating new business. â— Amazon Expert: Deep understanding of the Amazon ecosystem, including FBA, Seller Central, Vendor Central, advertising strategies, compliance, and brand protection. â— Relationship-Driven: Skilled at building and nurturing long-term client relationships. â— Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed aggressive sales targets. â— Resilient: Comfortable with high-volume outreach and persistent in overcoming objections. â— Confident Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering compelling pitches and presentations. â— Self-Starter: Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.Ideal Candidate Requirements: â— Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in business development or sales, with a focus on eCommerce, digital marketing, or Amazon services. â— Proven success in a hunter role, consistently achieving new business targets and closing deals. â— Expertise in the Amazon ecosystem, including FBA, Seller Central, Vendor Central, advertising strategies, compliance, and brand protection. â— Strong negotiation skills with a track record of winning complex, high-value contracts. â— Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. â— Proficiency in using CRM software, preferably HubSpot.â— Willingness to travel up to 50% for client meetings, conferences, and industry events. Non-Negotiable Requirements: â— Hunter Mentality: The candidate must thrive in a hunter role, with a proven ability to find and close new business opportunities. â— Amazon Expert: The candidate must have a deep understanding of the Amazon ecosystem, including FBA, Seller Central, Vendor Central, advertising strategies, compliance, and brand protection.C-Level Sales Expertise: The candidate must have experience prospecting, engaging, and closing deals with C-level executives and other high-level decision-makers. â— Cultural Alignment: The candidate must align with company culture and be a collaborative and supportive team player. Onboarding & Training: â— Month 1: Introduction to the companys services, systems, and market positioning. Begin prospecting and pipeline development. â— Month 2: Engage with prospects, conduct initial sales meetings, and refine outreach strategies. â— Month 3: Focus on closing initial deals, with ongoing support and coaching from the VP of Sales.
