Candidates are preferred to reside in Houston, TX metro area but will be considered across the continental United States. This position is an integral part of the sales organization and will oversee developing and executing strategic account pursuit plans, meeting or exceeding sales goals, coordinating with our business development and marketing teams on lead generation spanning multiple industries, and conceptualising new solutions and market offerings.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing new sales opportunities in assigned territoriesSet and deliver market-leading annual sales targetsDevelop and implement effective regional and account-specific winning sales strategiesCommunicate Value Creed's value proposition across the marketManage account growth by fostering strong customer relationships and understanding their strategic goals and challengesEnsure cohesive, world-class customer experience by coordinating sales teams, service and delivery, subject matter experts and other resources as neededFacilitate and maintain successful relationships with customers, measured by customer satisfaction levels, increased revenue levels and overall account penetration.Collaborate with the global business development, sales, and marketing teams to spearhead lead generation initiatives within defined territoryCommunicate and collaborate on opportunity plans and sales strategies with other members of the virtual account team, as well as Value Creed field and corporate management.Conduct thorough research on prospective clients' needs, challenges, and industry trendsMaintain accurate and thoroughly documented pipeline of opportunities within Value Creed's CRMManage use of customer relationship management tool to ensure all activities, opportunities and sales goals are accurately captured, tracked and managed within existing Value Creed sales processesOngoing self-education, training and development in the ETRM/CTRM industryRegularly represent the Value Creed brand at events and trade showsESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Flawless demonstration of integrity and ethics throughout careerBachelor's degree or equivalent in business, marketing, technology, engineering, or related fieldMinimum 6 years B2B sales experience in Oil & Gas, IT services or consultancyDemonstrated record of success in sales of complex technical services to major industrial buyers in international/global environmentAbility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced and high-accountability environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesSelf-motivated with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targetsExcellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and presentation skills.Ability to travel as required, estimated 25% annually dependent upon assigned account(s) and candidate's home locationDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in consultancy background or understanding of IT application ecosystemsNetwork connections in business or IT across energy, trading or risk management markets Engaging, driven, creative and proactive change agent, strategic partner, sales leaderEffective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interface with personnel at all levels in the organization, in particular the ability to effectively challenge and change established business practices and habits, both organizational and individualAbility to exercise motivational leadership, foster teamwork and organizational alignmentAbility to be a supportive mentor and leader to othersLeadership skills including ability to provide clear direction to team, set high performance standards, create climate of accountability and demonstrates highest levels of integrity in all relationships and dealings
