Earn more from your hard work!The Outside Sales Representative for Atlantic Plywood is responsible for strengthening customer relationships, while driving volume and profit growth using a balanced approach of new business development and existing account management. ***** General Assist in building their individual sales and profit planBecome expert on market and productsUnderstand and be able to explain our policies and proceduresProvide product pricing and account level recommendationsParticipate in required vendor training and develop appropriate product knowledge in all products soldEffective call schedule planning and documentation in CRMDevelop specific account-based strategies to protects, grow and drive businessNew Business ***** Responsible for aggressively developing a pipeline in CRM for new businessCreate pull through for our direct accounts by working to educate and influence their customersIntroduce new products and complementary products to existing and new customersDevelop and carry out strategies to increase market share of our products with new and existing customersExecute and implement company promotions and programsProspect and develop new business targets/opportunitiesAccount ***** Responsible for maintaining and protecting existing account businessTrain customer sales teams on product knowledge and selling techniques, as neededProvide merchandising supportAddress and resolve customer complaints and/or claimsSet up and attend trades shows, as neededContinue building relationships through excellent customer follow up and product resolution***** Knowledge, Skills and ***** Strong customer service skills both in person and virtuallySelf-motivated and functions well independently as well as within in a teamAbility to present to groups both large and smallMicrosoft Office including hosting presentationHave strong closing skills with customers and follow up on commitmentsAbility to travel throughout the assigned territory as requiredStrong analytical skills, including the ability to identify and analyze key, market, customer, and competitive trends.***** Bachelor's degree preferred or industry experience equivalent***** 3+ years' experience in customer facing sales with in building products industryHave direct exposure in resolving customer concernsExperience in customer facing sellingUnderstanding of building installation processWORK ***** In-market 85% of the time (customer facing)Occasional over-night travel required.Must react to short lead customer requests, Possible evenings, or weekend for customer events
